My wife and I had breakfast at the Dinner Bell for Mother’s Day. It was a lovely experience. The quality of the food was exceptional. And the portion sizes were excellent. The coffee was very good and hot. We both had the breakfast board. The variety of items included was excellent. See photo. Of particular note was the eggs Benedict served on a 1/4 waffle, as well as the Belgian 1/4 waffle with homemade strawberry sauce, whipped cream and local maple syrup. The board included several other breakfast items and a delicious homemade dessert, all for a very reasonable price. I was very impressed. Servers were very friendly and the owners took time to come out into the restaurant and speak with us and other diners present. Well done folks. Thank you very much. We will be back!
This is a great place that feels like you are out in the middle of no where and still be near enough to everything. The room we stayed in was so cozy! The bed was a dream to sleep in! The shower had amazing water pressure. While somethings could be updated, I am not knocking this little roadside gem. I will be returning!
Love this place. First time we stayed the owners made us feel like we have going there for years. The rooms were practically brand new, and very comfy. Food was absolutely delicious. We have already booked a return trip this year, and are planning an annual trip as well.
I’ve lived in the area for 5 years and sad to say this is the first time eating at this restaurant. It was recommended by a friend so thought we’d check out and beyond impressed. The food portions and taste were absolutely amazing. Check out the lava cake as it is fantastic. Best fish and chips in the area and I’ve tried more than a few places so I think I can fairly judge. We’d definitely go back in the near future. Friendly and helpful staff as well.

My husband and I went here for their fish and chips and we were not disappointed! It was absolutely delicious. Huge portion and fairly priced. The staff was extremely friendly. The place was very clean. Even the bathroom was really nice. I highly recommend the Dinner Bell and will definitely be going back again.
